we're in new territory now

It's happened.  I can't tell my child's sock from my own in the laundry pile.  He's not quite eight years old.  Some things happen so fast...

At least, these days, he's growing in other ways besides just the sock size. This parenting thing is a continuous time warp of fast/slow.  I never know how to feel or how to process it and let my emotions catch up from the whirlwind of fog that Im trapped in. Will the dust settle? Probably not.
